a red ring outbreak that ISN'T Impetigo??
ok so, my xbox got the red ring last night, and i mentioned it at work to a friend, and he said his got one the other day too! talking to ANOTHER friend at work, he said his roommate's got it a week ago! oh but it gets weirder! i have a buddy that works at GameStop and i was asking him what my options were and he mentioned that they had more people than usual asking about the RRoD lately, too!!

is there some sort of second mass red ring outbreak like in the summer of '07? have any of you heard about a lot of people recently getting them?

the funny thing is all my friends at work, they may have bought theirs from BestBuy where we work, but mine was ordered from Amazon (where they told me it was the new one with the better heat-sink, the lying bastards!). so it's not just one batch it seems.
