HOLY SHIT!

my entire first page on my Flist is nothing but posts about Michael Jackson dying. yes, in case i'm like your only friend and you haven't heard, Michael Jackson is DEAD.

i always liked his music, and i wish i could dance like him. and that's all i'm going to say on that subject. i mean, what can i say that hasn't already been said by EVERYBODY ELSE ON ELJAY!?

so, moving on (because *teardrop*, as hard as it is we all must)...

I really don't like my new job (Lonestar Steak House). they're so overly-corporate, and the problem is THEY WANT TO BE! they make their employees jump through 50 fucking hoops. but here's the thing, for being so corporate they are easily one of the most DISORGANIZED companies i have ever worked for. heaven forbid, they post a schedule more than a week in advance, or ever know when the fuck you're supposed come in to train. I had to waste a TON of minutes on my phone (i'm on pre-pay) just trying to get a hold of a manger to tell if i even had the fucking job there in the first place!

oh but here's the kicker! EVERY SINGLE DAY of my training i have to take a test of material from a booklet they gave me the day before. I'm supposed to fucking STUDY the menu and my handbook and all this other shit every day AT HOME! here's the thing, if it's required, then BY LAW they have to pay me (they claim otherwise). not only do i not have time in the FIRST place, but i'm not going to fucking do work at home if i'm not getting paid for my time.

so today i got sent home because i failed my fucking test by forgetting two of the options for meat on a salad and like four out of 13 of the options for side-dishes.

i'm not too broken up about it though. you think i give a fuck if i get fired from a job i don't even like? not. at. all.

besides, Best Buy just posted a JOS notice for a FULL-TIME POSITION IN MY DEPARTMENT! if i can land this, i can just QUIT my 2nd job! 36-40hrs/week PLUS a raise, PLUS BENEFITS?! YES PLEASE!! ^_^

Fuck . . . that steakhouse sounds shittastically shitacular. I hope you get the full time hours at BBY (see! I remembered!) . . . that other place already sucks. I HATE being forced to be all cooperate . . . makes me feel dirty. And this from someone who works as a contractor for the government :P

haha i don't mind some corporate. like BBY is pretty laid back and yeah i have to take these tests there too, but for one i don't get sent home if i don't pass, and also, if i take them at home, I FUCKING GET PAID FOR IT! (up to two hours a week allowed for certifications at home)

kinda like my job. I get paid for 3 hours even though it only take me about an hour and 15 minutes to clean everything. It's the law . . . yea, I to can handle some corporate stuff . . . but the shenanigans that they are pulling, not cool.

Also, do you happen to have MSN?

i do have MSN but i'm never on. it's still under my old hotmail account spiritual_machine_67[at]hotmail[dot]com. i'm thinking i might change it though and send out an offline msg to my friends i actually still talk to on there just because i'm sick of getting 30 offline messages from girls i knew in high school who were fucking stupid enough to click one of those "haha is this really you!?" or "I found an awesome weight loss product that REALLY works!" links. :/

There are some people I never talk to on MSN . . . I should remove them but I am to lazy to do it >_< Some I keep on there in hopes that they will one day come on line, but they never do.

I am snuffels [at] hotmail [dot] com and I am on all the time.

Those girls sounds . . . special. I usually get some random person who send me a porn link.

Yeah they're a bunch of idiots. though to be fair, all it takes is just one time clicking on the link so if it's the first time they've seen it i can kinda understand. but i have always been pretty cautious when it came to where i was clicking. oh i probably won't be getting a new email addy. i mean at this point all that's probably left for hotmail accounts is a random bunch of numbers anyway!

well i already work at best buy, this is just a chance to move from part-time to full-time. still hope i get to though!
