[26 Sep 2007|07:31am] So my xBox came today. i woke up at around 2 in the afternoon and went hmmm... i bet the ups guy will be here soon. i heard what sounded like a car door, and i looked out the window and sure enough there was that friendly looking big brown truck! at first i though "i must be dreaming, because that was uncanny." but then i threw on some clothes and opened the door just as he was coming up the stairs. so i've been killing zombies all day, and i think tomorrow i'll kill some krauts. (Dead Rising and Call of Duty 3) i called Qwest about getting internet and satellite but they go through DirecTV and they need a $200 deposit because i don't have enough good credit. the deposit i earn back in $5 credits on each monthly bill. so it would take me over 3 years to completely earn my deposit back. shit i don't even know if i'll be staying here for that long. i HOPE i will be. but shit does happen. so now i think i'll try Dish Network and still get my internet through Qwest. hopefully that will work. because i DON'T want to have to deal with Cable One. they are the worst. their regular cable connection is only like 50 channels. if only i could get Midcontinent down here. they are in Grand Forks and they get like 80 channels. and they are the two that i want satellite for damnit! all i want extra is G4tv so i can watch my tech news and the Vs. Network so i can watch my NHL games. oh also, i bought a Sioux Hockey jersey the other day. i went to the mall and looked at one in the sports shop for like $80 and i was tempted but i walked away saying "next paycheck". but then i went to go get my hair cut at JCPenny's and afterwards looked around their menswear dept. for a new pair of jeans since they were having their 24hr clearance sale. (everything in the store really cheap) i was looking at a pair of levis and noticed their NCAA apparel and went to investigate. they had the same jersey only it was priced at $70. HOWEVER... all their NCAA stuff was 1/2 off! so i got the thing to 35 bucks!! rock on! saved damn near $50 buying it that day at JCPenny's rather than buying it later from the sports place. i'm happy i noticed it! i have always wanted a Sioux jersey! i'll post a picture of it later.
